1 c. milk
1 c. cream
1/2 c. butter
3 T. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/4 t. vanilla
ground nutmeg
prepared pie crust, cooked
- Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat.
- In a seperate bowl add the milk to the cornstarch, making sure it disolves fully.
- Combine all ingredients to the pan, except the vanilla, nutmeg and pie crust. Stir till mixture becomes thick.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir vanilla into the thickened mixture.
- Pour the mixture into the piecrust and sprinkle it with nutmeg.
- Serve chilled.
